Kristi & Hayes

Kristi is a true Southern belle in every sense of the word - she is beautiful, gracious, kind and encouraging. She makes you feel better about yourself just being around her - I know very few people I can actually say that about. And Ill tell you - it isnt hard to see why she is like that - her family (and Hayes' as well) is so genuine and sweet. And it also isnt hard to see why Hayes fell in love with Kristi. And her him - he is such a gentleman and so loving and easy with her. They were a joy to be around.

They had every little detail covered and it was all so gorgeous!

Take a look at Kristi's dress....

And the flowers were stunning.... I love bright colors, and all the reds, oranges and yellows did not disappoint!

This cake tasted as good as it looked.... yummmm
And how cute was their cake topper (and yes, thats their rings on top - I couldnt resist)

Everyone got ready at the church..... seriously - how gorgeous can one girl be?

I love the expressions on the bridesmaids faces.... and how Hayes' grandmother had snuck in there when no one was looking....

What a handsome groom Hayes made

Kristi and Hayes opted to see each other for the ceremony so they could really enjoy each other and their guests at their ceremony....

The firt look was so sweet!

So gorgeous!

One of the faves of the day!

I wanted to make sure they remembered that it rained on their wedding day, so they happily obliged me with this shot....

This has got to be one of my all-time favorite shots - ever!

I happened to think the seahorse was adorable

The getaway car.... how ferocious is that?!

I loved this one of all the groomsman.... they are hot!
but not as hot as these girls.... check them out!
and we cannot forget the cuteness factor (I hear you going awwww)

See - I told you their families were awesome!

I caught the grandfathers chatting it up right before the ceremony
"the bride is coming, the bride is coming..."

exchanging of the rings.... check out the ring bearer (love it!)
lighting the candle
the kiss....
Mr and Mrs Rector

The reception was one big party - with all of their family and friends

Getting everyone ready!

the garter toss!
the bouquet toss!

And their off....

a last minute word with dad....

I adored this couple and this wedding. I had such fun and their families were a blast to be around. Never once did I feel like "just the photographer." I felt like a part of the whirlwind of the day. And for that - I am ever thankful.
